e coach? Quote Tweet Mike Martin @HowlinHusky · Nov 7 NOTHING OFFICIAL ON ANYTHING AND NO NAME HERE BUT… Here’s the deal, there’s a BIG TIME coach that wants to come to UW and will be off of the market shortly if UW can pull the rug on Lake. If they can’t he’s going to one of the other vacancies. Ball is in UW’s court.
Just passing on the information not vouching for its validity.

They said has UW Higher than USC and LSU. I’m guessing James Franklin

There’s not a coach on earth who has fricking Washington higher than LSU and USC. Maybe LSU, maybe USC, but absolutely not both. LSU is the far superior job to football guys, USC is the far superior job to west coast lifestyle guys. If offered equal money by all 3, NO ONE would end up in Washington. I fricking hate delusional local writers, good laugh though

I'd rather be in Seattle for that kind of money.

Whenever a coach is hired or very close to a deal, they always say that was their first choice all along. It's probably someone LSU or USC never even offered.

Chris Peterson recently just did and he's an elite coach.
It's possible there is another elite coach who feels the same way now.

It’s really not that far fetched.
Plus, no state income tax in WA.

Ok. Wasn’t aware that Chris Petersen was ever offered the LSU job but thanks for the input, big insider

People here can’t conceive that not everyone would want to come to LSU.

I hate people who spin absolutes about things they know nothing about

Think about it, all things being equal, your quality of life in the Pacific Nortwest beats the shite out of your quality of life in Baton Rouge. If the money is equal why not opt for a temperate climate, superior scenery and the intangibles....it is not just football they take into consideration. Schools are better for your kids, etc. Maybe you don't want the hot humid weather.....maybe you like the outdoor life. If I were a high profile coach I would seriously consider Washington or USC. The skill talent in So Cal is pretty damn good.

Coaches don't have a life outside of football. And when they rarely do, it's to go to places other than where they coach.
Because they can afford to.

it's not Franklin or Napier
Aranda is from California but he's only used a few west coast jobs as stepping stones to move back east
it ain't Jimbo
