Um, he can't exactly commit to Michigan right now or he will look bad for any future NFL gigs. Just has to say the right things for another nine days or so.

Everyone knows they have the ability to pay that much...the issue was that the academic side would scoff at the notion.

Big difference between "consider" and take.
Who knows what happens, but Harbaugh has been pretty successful in big boy football and I cant see him returning to a lower level of football at this time.
If that offer is true, Michigan better damn well get him cause the next guy on their list might frown on a 2-4 min. offer.
I understand that JH is a good coach, but 8 mil. for a guy who won like 58% of his games as a college coach at Stanford?
Only shows how truly desperate Michigan must be. imo

I'm just scared at the precedent that this sets if true. The end result will be increasing ticket prices, even beyond the rate that they're increasing right now.
