I would thrilled with Gilbert. One of my top three choices, and studied under Art Briles whose system I love. If we can get Him, then we have an Art Briles framework without the baggage of Kendall. Fingers crossed.

If I was hired to be OC my first three plays would be.
1. Toss dive
2. Option to short side
3. Lots of shifting and motion and then jet sweep.
Maybe a bubble screen next series

What does the potential OC think of running up the middle against 10 in the box on 1st and 2nd down to force an obvious passing situation on 3rd down? Les Miles won a lot of games with that strategy.
