If it hurt Strong's defense at Texas, why did he take Gilbert with him to South Florida?

frick it. I want whoever Orgeron truly wants. If that's Ensminger then so be it. Whoever it is, it has to work well and it has to work quickly. If he thinks that guy is Ensminger, fine by me. We need results with no excuses.

Either that, or hire who Aranda wants and Orgeron can be a figure head for a couple of years. He can just be the motivational, recruiting, clock management guy that he already is.

I do find it interesting to think that people think that just cause what he ran at Texas would be what he ran at LSU. I would assume every coach takes a look at what the team is best suited for and what the overall team concept will be and then tweak their schemes and play calling accordingly.

He is a disciple of Briles so he will bring a dynamic aspect. But does he have to have a carbon copy of what he did. I doubt it.

Hope that is true. I think him or Yurich would be just fine.

I’d say it’s tough to even judge him from his one year at UT

Agree on both commments. I do hope we don’t run a total Baylor look. And I feel good about yurcich or Gilbert.

This is probably going to be a convenient line.
