I'm fine with Kiffin coming, but let's not pretend he's not a trolling prick sometimes. Saban has always been respectful to his opponents in public.

I may be mistaken Stat, but isn't this board for all coaching changes? I mean I'm pretty sure I saw Herman's name and Fleck and as of today Kiffin is still Bama's OC. Some of these LSU fans are a little dense.

Bingo. He has his strengths and weaknesses. I appreciate what he's done. But luckily we've had his replacement on staff all season. He's done nothing but watch film and draw up his own gameplans. He knows our team in and out already. Ideally, you want continuity in the playoffs. But that looks like it's not happening.
I expected 3 years out of Kiffin when he signed on. We ended up pretty close to it. I also expected he'd land another hc gig, and I'm sure Lane did too. But with his personality and his past, larger programs still seem scared to take the chance. If he can be successful at LSU, and not working under Saban with Bama's talent, he'll get another hc job.
It's still weird as hell. Has there ever been a coordinator that took a lateral position right before his team is playing for a national title?
