Hanny should say if his info came from Sexton or not.
That would tell us a lot more about the motives behind the leak.

Pardon my ignorance but what is a shadow staff? I can only guess that it is a lot of extra help in recruiting

I don't understand why this is being leaked or someone within LSU is putting that out there and then back peddling it saying it's only a good guess... I mean this does seem like a diversion if there ever was one...

Bureaucratizing administration of your program. Everything from student volunteers watching films of recruits to paying "consultants" (e.g., Sark at Bama) who aren't on the field and can't recruit, but who provide very valuable input.
It is a very innovative (and yet simultaneously old) concept.

Thanks for the input we were at the game this weekend and my mother noted the players ....she didn't know which players... but they were being greeted by these really pretty black girls and my mother asked if they were the girlfriends of the players and a woman standing there said no..these are the girls who help the recruits for the weekend.... she said they were very sharp and very well-dressed and very pretty as she emphasized a couple of times
