Chicken aside, Hanny just said this on the radio. So we aren't reporting anything crazy.

does anyone else think jimbo living in a 700k house with a 40 million dollar contract screams "i'm not committed here long term"?

Don't want to intrude, but I can answer this.

Candi and the boys got their big marital home after the divorce. Jimbo bought something for himself in the same neighborhood to be close to the boys and so they don't have to go all the way across town when it's time for them to go to his house.

What's your perspective on the family side to this story? I think this is the biggest part of the deal. LSU people reporting she won't stop him.

This is eerily similar to same thing at the same point last season. We all know how that ended. I have zero faith in Alleva and the powers that be. I predict a pending disaster. Would love to be wrong.

My guess is that the offer includes big money for a shadow staff like Alabama has.

Is this really THAT beneficial? I understand wanting a couple extra guys to help coordinate recruiting and practices, but what do the other 15 ex-coaches do?

Honest question

Looks like the 9251 SHOAL CREEK DR house was last sold in 2007, the year Jimbo went to FSU, and not post divorce.

He would have had to answer ?'s anyway. But he will say no comment. Then Sunday we will see him with a p&g hat on. Makes too much sense for him to come to Lsu. Rohan was spot on about jimbo loving the sec and wanting to go against the best. He's been there a long time. Time for a fresh start and be in the elite club of national titles with two teams!

recruit and evaluate film.

probably pointless with someone like miles, but with that staff in the hands of Saban, it's stacking the deck against anyone else in the country.

Saban has been playing with a stacked deck for years. He asks, he receives, and uses all information available to win.

Best example is him hiring the old ole miss coach Tyler Siskey who essentially broke down the Ole Miss playbook for Saban and staff.

Here is Siskey in action LINK

My mother is social acquaintances with her.

At FSU the female fans have what is called The Extra Point Club - female equivalent of The Touchdown Club.

My mom is a past president and has worked on some projects and socialized with Candi.

She's going to have to agree to move to BR if this is going to work. They share custody and the oldest boy is the starting QB for his JV team and the younger plays with a travel ball club.

I know she isn't keen on uprooting the boys but money always talks. She hasn't said an emphatic no but she has said she is 50% of the decision making in any career change or move for Jimbo - at least until the boys are in college.

And, just as an aside, the younger ones medical issues are not a factor. His doctor is in Minnesota and you can get there from BR as easy as you can from Tallahassee.

The shadow staff are extra guys that act as the opposing teams staff for the week and scout your own team to see what your weakness is and how you would guess the opponent will scheme against you

The modern football program is just like a corporation. You need an administrative staff to help run that corporation. The shadow staff is a way to identify, classify and address the big data involved.

They own 3 or 4 house n Golden Eagle and I can tell you 100% that he bought a smaller home post-divorce.

I have no idea if some are owned by her or an LLC or another family members name - my mom doesn't know her well enough to be all up in her financials.

They get paid to live with film on both their own team and every opponent far in advance. They break down every tendency of every player all over the field. Different guys are assigned different areas to analyze, and they focus in on those tasks at a highly detailed level.

They all provide this information to the primary staff all pre-packaged and ready to go. This keeps them focused on the players, the gameplan, and working on technique. They aren't having to do all of the analysis on every opponent, and it isn't left up to a bunch of grad assistants like at most programs. Bama has a large pool of former coaches doing this work at a higher level, rather than guys learning on the job.

That's just the beginning. Again, it goes much deeper than that.
