I've never made that argument. Sylvan Learning Center can help you with your reading comprehension issues. What I said was that I don't care who plays running back, as long as they are productive. I have no favorites, unlike you.

Never said this either. How old are you? You write like you're 14-years-old.

As an added bonus, his OC a Jacksonville is former Ariz. State HC Dirk Koetter. He had some fantastic offenses at ASU, and wasn't a horrible HC himself (was fired after consecutive 7-win seasons). If the Miles to Michigan thing grew legs, a JDR/Koetter package would be a home run for Alleva.

Don't think he is the top candidate among LSU fans.

Brian Kelly and Harbaugh are the top candidates among LSU fans, at the moment, it changes every year though

-Young and charismatic
-Outstanding defensive mind. As others have mentioned, he would immediately shore up our defense
-Ties to the school, which means he may very well be at LSU for the long haul

I LOVE the prospect of Del Rio coaching at LSU. He's been a successful head coach in the NFL with a relatively long tenure, which is rare in the NFL.

I prefer him over any coach in college football. I like the comparison someone made with Carroll. In essence, he is a better version of Carroll.

similar record as a DC in the NFL to PC, better record as a HC in the NFL than PC, though PC's record in the NFL is much better than most tards realize.

BTW, Saban and Carroll were both college defensive coordinators before they went to the NFL

Clearly being a DC at NC State over 25 years ago is crucial to Carroll's success.

well obviously Carroll learned the intricacies of defending the spread offense in college in 1980. JDR would never be able to juggle defending the complex college offenses PLUS having to talk to booster clubs and stay on top of academics. Miles' tutoring of RJF is what lead us to the title in 2007 IMO.

you defend Miles' misuse of RBs to no end. KW must suck and everyone only likes him because he was a 5 star. At one point you even said KW in the draft wouldn't compare to Terrell Davis because of Davis' "great senior year" when he had 400 yards as a senior. You are a Miles apologist who will defend every decision he ever makes to the death and then 3 years from now will pretend like you never did that, just like you've done with DiNardo.

Way to hijack a thread. I'm asking for someone to sell me on Del Rio (who I said in the original post I am neither for, nor against) and you post about KW and Dinardo.

All you've sold me on is that you are a complete hack and idiot, which I already knew.

KW's situation and Terrell Davis couldn't be more different. Davis backed up Garrison Hearst as a sophomore and then was the top back at Georgia as a junior and senior. He rushed for 824 yards as a full-time starter his junior year and 445 yeards as a senior when he was hurt. KW is a career backup. How are they similar?

Find a post where I ever even discussed DiNardo, much less defended him. You were in Pre-K during the Dinardo era anyway, so what do you know.

you said Davis had a "studly senior year." Please detail how 445 is studly but everything KW does is terrible in your eyes because he was a 5 star but doesn't try to run over people like Jesus Hester?

And, Ron, of course he disregards everything about JDR in this thread. He's just collecting facts here and obviously doesn't have anything against this potential hire wink wink.

I'm pretty much sold on him, but not from this prick. He has to contaminate every thread. He's just insulted that I wasn't ALREADY sold on Del Rio, because that's who he likes. That in itself should be good enough.

Every response I received was good except from the tweenager.

so you didn't see it at all but from a 2 page thread you're sold? So did you not know anything at all about him before you made this thread? Doesn't really make sense. Surely he hasn't learned how to deal with alums and boosters or academics in the last 3 hours.
