I love all the top notch negotiators. Ryno is making an arse out of himself. Herman is great and I wouldn't complain, but quit acting like Jimbo is a tomato can.

The leverage thing has more to do with openings at Texas and Oregon than any misstep by Alleva. Just be thankful that Houston and FSU are not in the playoff hunt. Whatever happens, we will be better off than we were at the beginning of the 2016 season.

Not even two baskets.

It was all in one basket - the Ed fricking Orgeron basket.

It should have been a "seek and destroy" mission to secure Jimbo or Herman 3 weeks ago. Not days before the regular season has ended.

While the scooby-doo bit is hilarious, you get downvoted for suggesting Larry Fedora.

If it comes down to Jimbo vs Herman ... I actually prefer Herman, because his offense would be a lot of fun to watch.

EITHER man is a home-run hire, of course, and anyone who disagrees is a fool.

I know man you can't make this crap up, they fire Les to give it to O, and what's worse is a ton of LSU fans were behind it just goes to show you...

Ed O was never, ever, ever getting this job.

The fact that he is even mentioned by "sources" to Random or the press lend credence to the theory that people are being fed disinformation.

I have done a 180... I think Herman is our next coach,

If Ed O would've won all but Bama it would've been tough to say no. He made it easy on us losing Saturday

Stanley Jacobs was a no go on Ed O. He would have made serious waves. That was taken care of yesterday.

O keeps getting brought up because in order to retain him under a new administration there has to be a common belief that he was a legit candidate from day one. The reason he left SC on bad terms is he didn't believe he was given a fair shot before they decided on Sark.

Naw, he was never getting the job. But there were good reasons for putting him "in the mix", and it worked. The season didn't go to compete shite and the fan interest was pretty solid given the crappy circumstances.

LSU football revenue in 2015 at least 55 million dollars.

7 million is reasonable. Guy has a NC and is at a pretty studly program. Pay the man, proven.

Herman is a hope, a wish...hadn't quite got what Jimbo has realized. Can he? Who knows but aren't going to wager with my money

If Steve Harvey is brought in to make the announcement, I'm turning off the TV.

I've heard Jimbo's name being mentioned for the Texas job along with a pile of names. I suppose I never took the possibility seriously.

But if he's gauging interest with Texas and Oregon as well as us, I think that says a lot about how much he might want out of FSU. Just a thought.

Maybe I'm being silly, but I just want LSU to have a fun offense.

I can tolerate losses. I can tolerate getting beat by Alabama. I can tolerate LSU underperforming from time to time.

I cannot tolerate another 3-5 years of dull, uncreative and inept offensive play.
