Georgia is hands down a better job than LSU and I'm not even trolling.

The state of Georgia is quickly reaching Florida, Texas and California levels when it comes to elite recruits.

I don't agree. LSU won't even consider a candidate from the coordinator ranks with zero HC experience.

What does any of this have to do with Georgia being a better job than LSU?
Because it is only your opinion. It doesn't matter what your thoughts are as to which job is better, it only matters to the guy that gets offered the job.

Fail. Don't be an idiot. You're talking one state, albeit a good one. Florida, Georgia, and California each have more, and ND has a solid presence in all.

Are you talking to yourself? You must be since you clearly do not know what "per capita" means.

If they had someone with the resume of Kirby Smart who attended LSU they might. Smart is an UGA alumnus who has been the defensive coordinator for four national championship teams.

Georgia hiring Smart doesn't make it a worse program than LSU. Give Smart some time and he'll be killing it in the East.

so, according to that article from last year, it is super close yet LSU is the only one that stands as the sole Power 5 program in its state among the three. Comprende?

Thank God Finebaum pissed off Rita Rodriquez and she wouldn't let Rich take the job. The only credit I'll ever give Pawwwwl.

Michigan is cold and only produces OLs. No one cares about Nebraska anymore. Notre Dame is basically Army with a little more recency and fewer weight restrictions. Bama fans have this delusional mindset because they fancy themselves as among that group, forgetting they were an average program and frankly a bit of a laughingstock 10 years ago (the Bear is dead), and thus overrate "prestige". But prestige doesn't matter very much at all.

You just have to be able to exploit "resources" (1. basically a dog whistle relating to racial demographics, and 2. you have a handful of extremely wealthy donors who prefer football suites and choice RV spots over the Napa wine valley).

For these reasons, LSU is, inherently, absolutely a Top 5 job. It took Saban to wake it up, but it most certainly is, in this bastardized version of modern day college football. Michigan and Notre Dame are inferior to LSU in this respect. There are certainly cons to LSU like any job, including it isn't Top Tier in terms of historical prestige, but that is almost entirely irrelevant nowadays.

The state of Alabama had more players drafted in the 2016 draft than Louisiana, so I guess it increased for this season.

Yet the state of Alabama still has the highest amount of NFL players per capita regardless of how close it is. Therefore, you are wrong.

Tell me, how many national championships does the state of Alabama have since 2009? The state of Louisiana?

Comprende?

And you don't see Alabama playing for more before he retires?

Auburn has one during that time frame too you know. And they played for another one.

Pulled an irrelevant and totally off the point question out of your arse to continue changing the subject about how you think Notre Dame is a better job.

Yes, we're all aware of the Cam Newton season and the miracle season. Not sure what it has to do with Notre Dame.

I think I might have heard the other day that Louisiana has had most NFL players per capita for seven out of the last nine years. Can't remember if that was rosters or draft picks. May have misheard that but that was insane.

Also, we don't have any other schools to compete with in state.

whats funny is that you are a bama fan. you have the trump card of all trump cards in this sport and here you are acting like an insecure little bitch on an lsu message board, specifically a coaching changes board not at all related to bama.

I won't ever forget the worst run of Alabama football in the history of the entire program. Historical prestige is a great marketing tool for your program, so it is important from a branding standpoint.

I agree LSU is a top 5 job. And that fact should make it relatively easy to hire an elite level HC with a proven winning record to replace Les.
