Bobby hit it on purpose. The secretary, not the ditch.

Petrino would be unreal at lsu. He's equal to jimbo in my mind.

how fortuitous for Bobby to have hit the ditch.

- removes himself from arky
- gets back to da ville
- curates a heisman contender
- walks into an LSU job tailor made for him

other motorcycle accidents have been less fortunate.

So the "gentlemens agreement" was a bogus story. Shocker.

Not necessarily. Whether its true or not, you always keep your options open until the name is signed on the dotted line. We saw how well that worked last year.

Gase was a recruiting assistant at LSU. The NFL has the benefit of not having to recruit talent, but it's nothing new to him.

Petrino will be contacted and potentially interviewed.

But you said . . . .

Ignore anything you hear otherwise. Both my guys say that numerous candidates would have to fall through for Petrino to even be considered.

#1 is Tom Herman
Petrino Won't be considered unless Herman and Shaw turn down.

We know that Shaw has said no, so I guess the word is out on Herman being a No? And Jimbo too?

And Briles will be interviewed at some point

I can't see Petrino being dislodged from Louisville this year. He has a great squad coming back next year, and he gets Jackson for at least one more year.

There's also a fair bit of root-breaking from Louisville that he'd have to do. All of his kids save one stayed in Louisville (and that one ended up moving back to Louisville) when he left for Atlanta. They all still live there, including (now) his grandkids. Never say never with that guy but I'd be surprised.
