How does that damn jet take going on three hours to fly from Dallas to Baton Rouge?

Because before they took off, they had it projected using 100 mph as the speed, which is obviously way too low.

Just checked again, it's cruising along at 634 mph. Estimated landing time is 3:52, or about 1:20 since it took off.

It's not devious - it's business.

HE may not have spoken to UM, but HIS agent may have.

To pick-up Les?

I think this is what's going on. I don't think it's definitive one way or the other even if he does take the ride. Les acknowledged the upcoming meeting this morning. The coaches conference in Dallas is a Les Miles function, not an LSU function, so rather than pay his own way to speak, why not let UM give him the ride since he's going to be meeting with them anyway?

No way! It's not a F-22.

He specifically said neither he nor his representatives have had talks with Michigan "except for some very distant contacts" whatever that means.

You may be right, Rummy, but Miles has never shown to be a deceptive type person. He would have just said nothing, IMO.

I'm just going by the flight aware page, I have no idea what's a realistic speed. Oh, and that's the groundspeed not airspeed if that makes a difference(I think it does)

So who's going to BTR to confirm who gets on / off this plane? There's someone on here with nothing better to do.

WBRZ is on the way with a camera crew.

They shot video yesterday and made a big fuss of it.

Ok, that's possible if there's a 100-150 mph tailwind.

I'm a long time Mich fan,pre-Bo...wanted to say hello to all the Tiger fans whom I've admired for many years....wondering what you think the chances are that Miles is playing Mich in order to get more $$$$ from LSU and/or just flexing his ego a bit??

So what you're saying is that website's numbers are full of shite?

Actually, a little simple math should have told me that if it was going 600 mph, it would have flown from Dallas to BTR in well under an hour.
