I agree with that, and I think Spurrier would come here in a heartbeat. I bet you both sides have put out feelers to gauge interest....I'm just saying that nothing is a done deal.

true he looks younger than he is

bowden can still recruit with the best of em

lets be honest, his best recruiting days are behind him as well, and it won't be getting easier from here on out....only more difficult..and he actually enjoys the recruiting process

i am not saying bobby or spurrier can't put together a top notch class, but bobby surely can't do it like it he was able to 15 years ago and i just think with every year that passes it will get more and more difficult for spurrier

i know bobby is much older then spurrier and when bobby was steves age now he was pulling in top notch recruit like trout before a storm, but bobby was never a threat to walk away

bobby had sense of security about him. the recruits and their parents knew he was going to be there, with spurrier it has been a question for the last 10 years....where will be be next year and i think those questions will just keep coming up more and more every year

Do you think Lafell would turn into an All SEC player?

Refresh my memory - what did Spurrier do in 1993?

Funny- I thought the problems at Fl St are because they lack talent.

Not a Michigan man, lacks experience at the top level.

Ferentz

See stickied thread. Not a Michigan man. Totally pedestrian year at Iowa this year.

Tedford

Maybe. Not a Michigan man

Yes, Lafell has all of the tools. Once he consistently makes the easy catches, he's a NFL first day prospect.

Slow-
Reading btwn your lines, you seem to think that there is a secret done deal btwn Miles and Mich, and that LSU knows this, and so has secretly approached Spurrier, who has secretly said he wants to come.
And altho he was never mentioned as a candidate for the A and M job, they must have secretly approached him, but was secretly told by him that he wont come because he has a secret deal with LSU.

Have I got your conspiracy theory correct so far?

Mike Trgovac (defensive coordinator for the panthers and a michigan guy). His name has been mentioned.

Is there any credible information out there that Miles to Michigan is likely to happen after the SEC Championship game?

Yes, because everything is happening as planned (except the Carr announcement, but the theory is that he was trying to torpedo Miles' candidacy).

Also, is there anything more than just message board speculation that SOS would be interested in LSU?

There are lots of relationships that Spurrier has with LSU people. I don't know how much of it is purely speculation, but there's enough smoke for me to believe that there is at least a small fire.

well, there hadn't been a question about bobbys commitment to FSU or their commitment to him in 25 years whereas with spurrier it seems like there have been nothing but questions the last 12 years or so

whether or not it will definitely hurt recruiting i don't know, but it is a concern of mine

in his interview he had better convince someone his tenure, longevity and commitment better be back seat news to his w's on the field

I doubt it's a secret amongst the administrators and coaches.

I wouldn't think its that far fetched. The details may not be done between Miles and Michigan, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's agreed to leave.

Nothing is guaranteed, and as crazy as it sounds, I believe that SFP is absolutely correct on this. (Except for the aTm stuff, SFP is just freakin' nuts on that one.)

Judging by the accuracy he shows on his videos and from what I have heard, I believe Jarrett Lee would be an All-American under Spurrier. He definitely fits the Spurrier QB mold.
