These guys move around too damn much.

Why IS Crowton not receiving much attention? He had to follow a legend, and before you all say Miles is a legend, (he IS) I mean a lifer as Lavell Edwards was at BYU. He's been through rough patches before.

I think Muschamp is a good choice as well, if we're talking assistant coaches. Of the coaches mentioned, none of them really do it for me. There's no truly great coach out there, in my opinion. I think the great coach is here, and likely to leave.

Kelly at Cincinnati is only in his first year, there, right? That's not proven, yet. Most coaches don't leave after one year, anyway. Now Petrino might, rumors in Atlanta are that the players don't like him and won't play hard for him. Dunno.

Chris Petersen - possibility
Norm Chow - No HC experience
Brian Kelly - I'm still trying to figure out why everyone likes the guy, he took over a very good Cinci team
Mike Leach - we need a coach who appreciates defense
Steve Spurrier - to old, will not recruit and leave a mess for the next guy in 2 or 3 years
Bo Pelini - no HC experience
Jim Grobe - posible
Paul Johnson - good coach but doubtful
Ron English - is this a joke?
Gus Malzahn - a joke with out a doubt
Nick Saban - i appreciate what you did but to much baggage
Bud Foster - no HC experience and too old
Gene Chizik - not proven anything as a HC
Dan Mullen - just no
Will Muschamp - no HC experience

I really think Del Rio would be in the running if the timing is right. I know he hasn't coached in college before but that isn't stopping any of you from wanting Cowher.

Chris peterson.

Only 2 years as a head coach, but only one loss.

Not my first choice, but I could be sold on him.

The heat, humidity and high fried seafood would kill him.

Why would anyone consider Pelini

Cause if Miles goes we won't know about it until after Jan.8, hopefully. Pelini is a good coach who carries the players respect. We wouldn't have to risk coach after coach turning us down, because of the pressure and the fan base. we could get it done quickly.

Northwestern Tiger sorry to call you out directly, but I think you are what's wrong with the LSU fanbase. You would gladly thow away a good coach with great recruits for an unknown with potential. Pie in the sky.

We got a good thing with Miles and a small percent of you are trying to push him out the door.

haven't we learned anything>? If Skip makes the call it will be someone we're not thinking of.

I like Petersen as he is innovative for sure.

but we're probably looking at someone in the Les/Saban mold.
