Not saying you are 100% spot on, but you're very good at connecting the dots. Suprised the tards haven't came out yet.

That has been going on for years. It becomes more visible when they're trying to fire or hire a coach.

there were plenty of posters that were convinced houston would get in. I told them no way in hell Texas and OU allowed houston back in the big leagues.

They are going to expand

They are not going to expand FOR THE TIME BEING.

I.e, We're going to wait until Herman is gone from Houston and they hire a shite normal coach and then add then add BYU when we are sure that Houston can't hurt us

There is not ONE benefit to adding BYU/ Houston this year that they can't get 2 years from now that they will get by adding them now. Not going to help them this year. All they will do by adding Houston is keep Herman in Houston.

I do not understand the business case for adding Houston at all. BYU will make everyone money; Houston will cost everyone money.

Now we want Clay Helton and Charlie Strong to turn those programs around.

They can fall off the map next year, I just need them to win in 2016.

(Note: Unless Chip Kelly becomes available, in which case, Chip Kelly #1, Tom Herman #1b, Jimbo Fisher #2, everyone else = disappointing)

IMO herman would do better at LSU than chip would. I really think chip belongs in the pac 12 unless he is willing to slow his offense up to help out his d

I'm trying to understand this myself. The only thing I can think of is to get more of the Houston market that the SEC with TAM and LSU have a good portion of. I would think that UT has a good enough market there though.

Helton is about to go on a run at USC now that he has replaced Browne with Darnold. I see USC finishing 4-1 with a chance for 9 total wins with a bowl game.

I just don't know with Texas anymore. If their defense wasn't so awful, they would sweep the rest of their games. Strong has taken over, so they could look much better in the next couple of weeks.

You know, strange as this might seem, I thought the defense looked alright against Oklahoma.

And the D looked pretty good against Iowa State. I think strong has a chance.

How long until the Big 12 dissolves completely?

It will be interesting to see how the situation plays itself out long-term. Super conference or Texas and OU join another conference....

i heard this on sunday, it was the only thing even remotely close that could keep Herman in Houston because of the $5 million dollar payday, he will sign a contract with LSU, i bet anyone on here $100 he does. 5 year, 5.2 million per year.. and he keeps Aranda, heard it here first.. Hermans Agent told Texas boosters to go in a different direction. Herman will be at LSU.. book it... Texas is now gauging interest in Chip Kelly for 49ers.

Well. You're either a hero or you'll never be able to post again. That's a bold prediction.
