I don't know. It all seems plausible but I don't see it happening for Texas. Their "boosters" may have screwed the deal.
It was always the silence from Nick, Texas and Alabama which made claims that negotiations were taking place seem very credible. The rushed timetable also appeared to fall apart with Mack. But the idea that the deal is still alive seems far fetched.
