Trey, this is true...Miles has as many SEC titles as Saban since Saban has been at Bama.

And not because of this situation either.

Nobody has done less, with more, than Mack Brown.

I was laughing at the mulligan comment. Still mad almost three years later.

And its so cute that yall still hope someone will come in here and take away Lord Saban so you might be able to win something again.

Chicken, when was the last time you got anything correct regarding Texas?

Do you mean except for the part where Chicken said his source told him Mack Brown would be out at Texas after the Baylor game if Texas didn't win the Big 12?

That article is a complete joke.

1. The Fort Worth report the writer cites...it was a tweet that the writer of that report backtracked, saying that he did not have the proper info to go to print with it

2. Do we really think that Nick Saban would make his final decision to leave Alabam for Texas because of a comment some random guy made the Alabama bus after the Iron Bowl? Are you serious?

So you admit your "When have you been correct...?" comment was misguided?

This is what Chicken posted on December 4:
quote:

At the end of the day if he wins the conference outright, no one will fire him. I personally doubt that they fire him. If he leaves at that point it would be because he is pissed off or unhappy that UT has been putting out feelers for replacements behind his back.

Assuming he does leave, Texas is going to swing big initially...in the words of an influentual donor, the mantra now is Championships...the best predictor of future success is past success. Big money alums have committed to underwriting the cost of a new coach. Texas is going to make an initial run at Nick Saban or Urban Meyer and throw $7 to 8 million per year at them.

If they strike out with these guys, then you will see the focus slide to the people on the list below. The two names on that list that have been specifically mentioned by insiders are Mahlzan and Mora Jr.

That sounds like Chicken was spot on to what actually transpired. And he wrote that 2 weeks ago today.

You owe Chicken an apology.

I want him to stay. can't wait to beat him again. It's not like he's dominated lsu, same number of s.e.c. and western div. titles. has he been better, yes, but not by much.

Just happy the schedule is flipping, a.j. gone, Au and Tenn back on the rise, things will start to even out. very excited about the future.

No, you should apologize for telling Chicken he's not gotten anything correct regarding the Texas saga when he obviously nailed it two weeks ago.

Even for a gump, you're a very petty, immature person who refuses to acknowledge when he's wrong about something.
