Hopson is apparently still in the mix.
"Alcorn State’s Jay Hopson played it coy when asked about the vacant head-coaching position at ULM. Hopson told WJTV in Jackson, Mississippi on Friday that ULM’s interest in him was flattering, but he’s Alcorn State’s football coach.
“I’m wearing the purple and gold,” Hopson said. “Certainly it’s flattering to have interest but this has truly been a great blessing for me and I’m looking forward to the Celebration Bowl.”
"Hopson interviewed with ULM earlier this week in Shreveport."

I know this guy personally and he would be great for ULM. He was actually an Assistant for LSU under Hallman and then went to Florida before joing Rich Rod at Marshall for a number of years. The Michigan gig was great he said but they just couldn't pull it off. He's an excellent recruiter!

Viator met with the president on Friday and i heard an announcement will come tomorrow one way or the other. id say its 50/50 if hes the coach or not. would be a good hire
