That's interesting. Thanks for that.

It was also pretty well-documented that he and Skip Bertman butted heads right before he left. Hmmmmmmmm

Saban has NOT met with the Texas AD today. I'm confident at putting that at 100% as well.

I am sure you can provide a link to back up you claim.

If Saban were leaving, the AD would not come out at this point and flat out deny it like battle just did. Saban is stayin'

Why isn't Michigan in this bidding war?

Maybe Bill Battle himself will take a shot at it. After all, he has some unfinished business since Tennessee dumped him as coach after the '76 season. Hasn't coached since. Maybe it's time.

Dan Wolken ?@DanWolken 2m Alabama AD Bill Battle on Saban: "He's working his butt off on recruiting. We're focused on recruiting and playing Oklahoma."

Translation: i havent seen him. Hopefully he's recruiting players for UA and not UT.

Dan Wolken ?@DanWolken 11m Alabama AD Bill Battle: "There are segments of our industry that require market-driven salaries"

translation: i dont think we can pay as much as Texas.

Dan Wolken ?@DanWolken 1m Asked about the status of extension talks, Battle repeated: "The Sugar Bowl is where his efforts are and that's where mine are."

translation: He won't sign it. Can we talk about something else?

Jesus Shuttlesworth is the only guy who says they met (and that it was a phone meeting)

It could have been at any time and it may not be accurate information

I am not claiming he did or didn't you are the one making claims. You don't have anything to back up your claim and I pointed it out. So you are basically talking out of your arse. Because you don't know.

Calm down. I have no source.

I'm still confident they have not met.

Are you confident that they have met?

Now that, I think we can agree on.

Bama fans in denial about the possibility, LSU fans a little too giddy over this possibility.

I'm supremely entertained because, well, frick Bama, but that's just the way I was raised.

But, yes, "talking out of one's arse" seems to be the order of the day - for the past couple of days.
