re: Baywatch the movie(spoilers) - smkspy
Only redeeming thing about the movie was the Rock ripping on Jack Eftron with names like backstreet boys, beiber, and even high school musical. ...

re: Madea Boo 2 - smkspy
Do they lack the usual Tyler Perry mini-drama within a comedy? Always wanted to see the first one. I did enjoy the one with the pie fricker's dad....

re: Supernatural season 1000 - smkspy
I hope it runs for twenty years like Law and Order. I dgaf about over-arching storylines...hell, I'd love a seasoin of Sam and Dean on the road.just doing what they do, killing some fricking monster. In terms of plot, I know this can't happen cause of fricking Vancouver, but it would be an epic cou...

re: RIP Jim Lahey - smkspy
Been binge watching all day. One of the GOAT comedic roles. If they finished season 12, they should release and end it. And noticed countdown to liquor day is gone is Netflix. One of my favorite Lahey moments is him pissing at Ricky while driving during the car crash....
What other movie is like that? I mean, cop cars and lights out front? Gun shots everywhere. Explosions. I can't think of one this bad...  I guess I get why this wouldn't bother some people though. You just have to suspend believe in this one a lot.
Super Hero and sci-fi movies a...

re: The Babysitter (Netflix) - smkspy
Just finished watching it. It was a fun ride, and pretty much your standard fare slasher movie where killer(s) cause a ton of chaos and the rest of neighborhood is none the wiser. Definitely worth a watch, for the craziness and the 3 hot babes. My only complaint was the lack of the ritual and ...

re: Before HBO and VCRs? - smkspy
Yep, think I saw fifth element like 5 times at the old Essen theater. Quite a few at broadmoor too. Used to make for great weekends out in high school. $20 could take you far back then....

re: One of these movies doesn't have the staying power of the other two.... - smkspy
Theaters used to keep the most popular movies running for extended periods and frequently brought them back as home video was an ultra rare thing in the 70s. If you wanted to see the previous examples you were forced to wait for theaters to reshow them. Movies like Iron Cross just fell by the way...

re: Best and Worst show your SO watches - smkspy
Best- every show of mine that I've hooked her on. Hogans heroes is the latest. Worst- all those good awful cooki by show and big bang theory. Thankfully she doesn't watch young Sheldon, and only watches Grey's anatomy and L&O:svu when I'm not home....

re: The Star Wars Trailer (Discussion Thread) - smkspy
I agree, the sentence is more about him being fearful of committing the same mistake with Rey that he believes he made with Ren. Nothing in the OT would suggest that Luke ever underestimated the power of Vader or the Emperor. ...

re: Who is Snoke? - smkspy
frick it, can't figure out how to hide spoilers here, but this being a speculation one would expect theories and speculation. My favorite so far, That snoke was an imprisoned sith/Jedi from the old republic. A vampiric being that feeds off the essence of ultra powerful Jedi and ...
They are keeping everyone in the dark about the four force users.
I keep hoping that the 4 are actually Poe,Finn,Rey,and Kylo. They all have to join together to bring balance to the force. Decent trailer. I enjoyed it....

Dark Empire 1 and 2 were awesome. Wish Lucas had jumped on those for the sequels back when all the OG actors could have made them still work in the mid-90s....

re: Anyone See Marvel's Inhumans on IMAX? - smkspy
Girlfriend likes it. But they've nerfed the core in humans to basicly be no better than shield in humans. Black Bolt has gone head-to-head with the Hulk. Medusa doesn't just whip her hair around but actually controls it's length and density. Karnak, the guy that can find the fault in any...

re: Revenge of the Sith question (spoilers) - smkspy
1. I dunno, because Lucas wanted to turn the Jedi into warrior priests or something, and palps got all up in anakin's head. 2. They knew a Sith Lord had started the whole fricking war that they had been fighting since the end of episode II....
