re: Get Ready for Quarterback Competition - Eauxld Geauxld
If he can't beat Jennings out still, then the guy just doesn't have it.
SAYS IT ALL, BUT ALSO MAKE YOU WONDER IF HE DOESN'T "HAVE IT" WHY MILES WOULDN'T RECRUIT A TOP NOTCH QUARTERBACK...............

re: Despite what any of us think of Chavis - Eauxld Geauxld
Whoever replaces Chavis will have the opportunity to coach an insane level of talent. ......and if the new coordinator can develop the talent that has been sitting on the sidelines for the last year or two, he'll be very successful......and I am talking about Bain, Gilmore, Garrett, Bower, Herron ...

Opening kick-off fumble - Eauxld Geauxld
Am I the only person on this board who thought that Notre Dame fumbled on the opening kickoff........and that L.S.U. recovered? Am I dreaming???...

re: Why isn't Jimbo Fisher's name being tossed around for Michigan? - Eauxld Geauxld
Just my opinion, but the way he has handled (mishandled) the Jameis Winston issues has not set well with a lot of folks. ...

Does this tweet sound like Miles is leaving? - Eauxld Geauxld
From Les Miles to Florida's new head coach: "From your permanent SEC Western Division opponent, welcome back to league Coach McElwain. Will enjoy continued great competition w/ Florida." Source is ESPN.com and it doesn't sound like the kind of note someone would send on their way out............

re: Richard Allen "Rich" Rodriguez - Eauxld Geauxld
So people want a coach who wins 80% of his games leave so that we can hire a guy that lost to Pitt with a chance to go to the national championship. AND got fired from Michigan.
If you go back and actually read my post, I said if Les leaves, I did not say I wanted Les to leave....

Richard Allen "Rich" Rodriguez - Eauxld Geauxld
If this guy can get the Arizona Wildcats to contend for a spot in the Rose Bowl, he could do wonders at LSU and he is my guy if Les leaves. 1998 was the Offensive Coordinator at Tulane when they were undefeated and score 30+ points in all but two games. Followed Tommy Bowden to Clemson and hel...

re: Honestly didn't know Jennings was that fast. The new O suits him well. - Eauxld Geauxld
As we have seen so many times, Miles let the air out of the ball in the second half and decided to let the defense win the game for him......and this dumb-ass strategy nearly back-fired on him....

re: anyone here feel better about jennings? - Eauxld Geauxld
HELL NO. WE HAD 42 PLUS MINUTES TIME OF POSSESSION TO 17 MINUTES FOR A&M AND STILL ALMOST LOST THE GAME. THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE IN OFFENSIVE PRODUCTION WAS THAT WE ACTUALLY DID MORE THAN RUN DIVE PLAYS..........BUT WE HAVE TO PRODUCE POINTS WHEN WE HAVE THE FOOTBAL AND FOR WHATEVER REASONS (MISS...

re: Just thought I'd add insult to injury. Just read ESPN QB ratings...... - Eauxld Geauxld
Where was Harris ranked?
I didn't look for his rating as I think a QB has to take "X" number of snaps to be in the ratings. I am not piling on Jennings either. He's a good kid......just not a very good QB at this level....

Just thought I'd add insult to injury. Just read ESPN QB ratings...... - Eauxld Geauxld
Anthony Jennings was ranked #98 of 127 quarterbacks listed with a 44.3 rating. The only quarterback close to Jennings was Justin Worley of Tennessee who was ranked #64 with a 57.5 ratings.............of course.......and this really hurts......Worley was benched this week-end....

re: Does Anyone Else Feel This Way? - Eauxld Geauxld
I totally agree with you. This stuff about recruiting four and five star talent without much of it ever being apparent on the field is very frustrating. I feel sorry for Harris, Quinn, Fournette, Dupre and all of the young talented, gifted athletes whose talent will be squandered in an offensive w...

re: All you who want Harris - Eauxld Geauxld
Your logic is almost as bad as your grammar. You miss the point...........we don't necessarily want Harris, or Jennings, or Hayden Rettig. We want a coaching staff who doesn't believe that an offense is a necessary evil. I feel sorry for Jennings because he has to sense that the coaches have no...

Just curious. Do you operate the french fry machine or do you work behind the counter taking orders?
Give the fans something worth watching. Even though we beat the crap out of UK, at times it was excruciating to watch the offense struggle. Miles thinks that Jennings is getting better, but ...
