Lots of great games already mentioned! Splendor is another game that everybody loves and usually want to play again. Mysterium is a great clue-like game using abstract art as clues. Plays great with 4-7 people....

Other than those already mentioned, 7 Wonders and Splendor are the two that hit the table the most lately. For bigger groups, you can't go wrong with The Resistance or One Night Ultimate Werewolf....

I completely agree with OP. Great series so far and I guess just because there is no sex and no f-bombs like in his previous it's considered young adult  Highly recommended and I can't wait for the 3rd one to come out....

re: Tabletop Board Games - Charleaux
I was in your situation about 6 months I used meetup (as SG_Geaux linked) to find a nice group. We get up to 20-25 people on Sunday nights which is pretty nice. For people in Nola that would be interested: [link=(http://www.meetup.com/Boardgamers-of-NOLA/)]Boardgamers of NOLA[/link]...

Eat NOLA - Charleaux
My wife and I received a gift certificate to the restaurant and were thinking of using it this week. Neither of us has been before so we are not sure what to expect. For those that have been before, any must-have items or dishes to avoid? How's the food/service overall?...

re: Pandemic Board Game - Charleaux
I recently started getting into board games after playing a few of those "gateway" games. Ticket to Ride and Settlers of Catan are two that I've played that are usually mentioned as good gateway games. Both are really good but I can't speak on their expansions. re: Golden Globes 2015 Nominations announced - Charleaux
True Detective and Fargo are anthology series so each season there's a new story, cast, and setting. It's a series that consists of a "miniseries" each season.
I get that. I was just wondering why the Emmys nominated it as a drama series instead of a miniseries, which is what I thi...

re: Golden Globes 2015 Nominations announced - Charleaux
Strange that Fincher is nominated for Best Director yet Gone Girl is not nominated (even with the comedy/drama split) for Best Picture. Also interesting that True Detective is under miniseries and not drama like at the Emmys. I wonder if HBO submitted it as a miniseries or if it's the Foreign Pre...
