I refuse to believe E.T. made grown men cry. I was a kid and didn't cry....I saw women cry.

Yeah, that's a true #1 because it's true.

I don't know if it made grown men cry, but I watched it for the first time when I was 11 or 12. It was a Sunday morning, my parents were asleep, I woke up early and decided to plug it into the VCR. I bawled like a 10-year-old girl at the end. I don't think I have ever cried so much watching a movie.

American Sniper was pretty rough at the end.
Any of the boy and his dog movies.

The end of T2 still gets me.

Pretty solid list.

I've never heard of men crying for most of these.

Armageddon? ET? Rocky IV? Did people cry when Apollo died or something? The end of Cool Runnings put more of a lump in my throat than those movies ever did.

Only one movie should be on that list... Brian's Song. That's the only movie men are allowed to cry over.

I don’t know who made this one.

I will agree with About Time and Field of Dreams. The majority of the list is crap and I’m not sure if I even whimpered at them.

- Old Yeller should be on there.
- Endgame should probably be on there for Downey at the end.
- Shawshank should be on there
- Gladiator
- Big Fish

Never been a fan of this movie. It's just an odd, weird movie to me.

Of Mice and Men

quote:

Lennie said, “George.”
“Yeah?”
“Ain’t you gonna give me hell?”
“Give ya hell?”
“Sure, like you always done before. Like, ‘If I di’n’t have you I’d take my
fifty bucks—’”
“Jesus Christ, Lennie! You can’t remember nothing that happens, but you
remember ever’ word I say.”

A River Runs Through It

quote:

“At that moment, I knew, surely and clearly, that I was witnessing perfection. My brother stood before us–not on a bank of the Big Blackfoot River–but suspended above the earth, free from all its laws, like a work of art. And I knew just as surely and just as clearly that life is not a work of art and that the moment could not last.”

Agreed Rocky 4 is entertaining as hell. But I've never heard of any man or woman ever crying
