School Winning Percentage
Alabama 0.892857143
Georgia 0.754716981
LSU 0.725490196
TANM 0.692307692
OM 0.653846154
MSU 0.653846154
Mizz 0.634615385
Florida 0.62745098
SC 0.62745098
Aub 0.576923077
Tn 0.52
Van 0.5
Ark 0.44
Ken 0.291666667

The irony is that at the end of 2015 Georgia fired Mark Richt and 3 games into 2016 LSU fired Les Miles. We all know where Georgia is headed under new head coach and Saban prodigy Kirby Smart.

Question is where is LSU headed?

I think a day will come sooner rather than later when we will beg for 72% winning percentage.

Never said I wanted to keep Miles, but facts are still facts. You can have your opinion, but not your own set of facts.

now show that sec record those years. Show the bowl record. Show the record against Bama, Ole Miss and Arkansas. Now show the number of players that play on Sundays from those teams

He needed to be fired, but there certainly is a risk that a new coach won't perform as well.

Who brought those players playing Sunday to LSU? You think without him or Saban they would have ever come here? No school recruits itself. The best example is TEXAS.

Risk? How many of LSU's recent coaches have been a success apart from Saban and Miles?

DiNardo, Hallman, Archer, Stoval. Hell ChollyMac won only 1 conference title in 19 years.

Saban made LSU. Miles simply piggy backed his success. If he gets another job, big if, watch his recruiting. Wont be great and his record will be even worse. He won on being extremely more talented than the opposing team.

You really don't know football if you compare LSU to Texas when it comes to recruiting. Texas'biggest problem recruiting is that A&M joined the SEC. So unless ULL or ULM turn into a big time program and join a power 5 I think we will be fine.

Arkansas by far looks better than 44%. At least against LSU

also, we should not make a change because it might not be better? So just continue the downward spiral because its comfortable. That is an even dumber excuse.

When the head coach is one of the top paid in the country and has the #1 highest paid assistant coaching staff in the country, the expectations are a bit higher than 5-3 or 4-4 in SEC each year....2nd, 3rd, 5th and 4th place in the West from 2012-15.

I pointed out last season or off-season that LSU, UGA and BAma are the only teams to have a .500 or better conference record in each of those five years.

Make no mistake - UGA and LSU both were correct in moving on from long term coaches. BAma is staying at 7-1 and 8-0 whereas we were floating down around 4-4/5-3/6-2. But it's certainly pretty amazing that only three schools have had even that level of consistency.

In the case of Miles, yes he brought in many of the guys we see on Sundays. And that's the point...if all those guys are excelling in the NFL and have major talent why did the W-L record at LSU not reflect it?

a large number of those wins are against cupcakes and weaker SEC teams. For a program like LSU with our fertile recruiting ground, the games that really matter are the ones against the better teams on our schedule.

And we've really struggled with them the last 3-4 years.
