That’s true and the AF would be a good choice, but if he wants to be a medic, he would need to do Pararescue. Basically SF medics. ...

The Marines don’t have medics. He would have to be in the Navy and attached to a Marine unit. ...

My grandfather retired as the highest enlisted rank, E-9. I don't know anyone that has a relative that achieved O-10, General/Admiral....
