I like to think I’m the hero being referenced.

If I’m not, oh well. I can try at least

It’s great. An all time classic. I try not to listen to it often but when I do, I’ll switch between that and I Will Survive for like an hour and afterwards feel like I can fricking run through a wall for whatever fricking reason

Greatest use of that song in movies was Shrek 2.

It's a good song. I miss songwriters and good music.

Liked that but think the use in the Loki TV series was better.

A bunch of time cops show up at a renaissance fair in the 80s looking for someone who isn’t supposed to be there. They walk into a darkened room that plays a message then turns this song on, at which point they get the living shite kicked out of them by an unseen assailant.

Don't forget "Total Eclipse of the Heart".
Not to be confused with "Total Eclipse" by Klaus Nomi.

I did a parody version of this one called “Totally shite When I Fart” years ago. Always makes me chuckle

I can’t hear that song without hearing The Dan Band’s version from Old School.
