My Dad was 23yrs retired Commander USN. Spent time on tankers in the North Atlantic before moving over to a Guided Missile Frigate and finally an Aircraft Carrier before a 6-year stint at the Pentagon.

The highest I have is a cousin who retired at 40 as a First Sergeant in the Marines and another cousin who retired in his mid-40’s as a Colonel in the Air Force.

E-9 is arguably more impressive than any O-rank below full bird colonel. Anyone who disagrees can meet me at Sonic for knuckle checks and a triple chocolate Blast.

Lurkin' n' such.

I disdain all things woke and political so I've been choosing my moments a little more carefully around here.

Bird colonel is the best we've got.

I was a patrol leader in Boy Scouts, and in Order of the Arrow. So, I got that going for me.

So you’re looking for posters related to five-star flag officers, or trying to figure out who has the highest-ranked relative?

Probably different answers.
