re: Long Time Apple iPhone User Converted to Android - dltigers3
Luckily the only person that sends me videos is my wife, and they are of our children for you pervs out there... I got her to use Allo for that purpose and we have a shared Google photos album. Really hoping the RCS stuff I've read about comes to fruition...

re: Long Time Apple iPhone User Converted to Android - dltigers3
Yup, I can trace back every issue I've had to either Samsung hardware or Samsung software. No issues with the pure Android experience...

re: Long Time Apple iPhone User Converted to Android - dltigers3
To each his own. I'm not an apple hater at all. I just prefer Android. My first iPhone was fine, but I had alot of problems with my 6s. ...

re: Long Time Apple iPhone User Converted to Android - dltigers3
Had iPhones 4s and 5s. Switched to Android with an s6 active. Haven't regretted one bit. Can't imagine ever going back to Apple. I think I have my wife convinced to switch too since her iPhone 7 asks her to input her Apple ID like every 15 minutes. My only regret is getting a Samsung and being on...

re: DirecTV Now Free Year of HBO - dltigers3
I actually just called customer support. They told me that if you are on the prepared 3 month Apple TV promotion the free HBO wouldn't start until after the 3 months. However, the agent went ahead and started my HBO now. So if you are on prepay just call or chat with them and they will get it going ...

re: Mobile/portable blind ideas - walk-in duck hunting deeper water - dltigers3
I use brown camo netting and a couple long t posts. I'm interested in better ideas though. I hunted a new area this year and feel I would have done better with better camo...

re: My Directv Now brethren, I'm throwing in the towel - dltigers3
Just saw the YouTube tv thread, no Viacom or turner channels for them. Looks like I will be sticking with dtn alittle longer. Hopefully the Roku app comes out by the end of the 1st quarter like they've said...

re: Roku Player Question - dltigers3
We have a stick and a couple of boxes. I notice a difference in speed on the boxes. They also are both hardwired to Ethernet which is not possible with the stick so that could be the main reason we notice a difference That said, the only real issue we had with the stick was it would unpair from ...

re: My Directv Now brethren, I'm throwing in the towel - dltigers3
I guess my concern is that dtn isn't active trying to improve. I haven't noticed any improvement in my service since I got it the first week of January. And as stated before, still no Roku app? And I don't really even care about DVR since I can watch anything old on Kodi. As far as a hardware iss...

re: My Directv Now brethren, I'm throwing in the towel - dltigers3
I'm holding with dtn until I can preview YouTube and Hulu. Vue is out because I have small children so we watch Nick more than anything. But dtn is awful, constantly kicking us out, guide not working half the time, and still no Roku app. We have 3 tvs, one with Amazon fire and 2 Rokus. I sold the fr...

re: Samsung Fit Gear 2 Questions? - dltigers3
I have been looking for one, I looked at the gear fit 2, but I hate Samsung software. If they would offer it with Android wear I would have already bought it. I'm thinking of getting the Moto 360 sport or saving for a bit and getting the new balance run IQ....

re: Smart watch/fitness tracker - dltigers3
Mostly use for running, and hiking. I would like for it to be compatible with Android wear. I've been looking at the Samsung gear fit 2 (if only Samsung didn't have to put their own shitty software on it) and the Moto 360 (reviews say battery life is pretty bad) Just wondering if there were an...

Smart watch/fitness tracker - dltigers3
Anyone have recommendations for a smart watch/fitness tracker. Looking for standalone GPS and the ability to play music. Also would like ruggedness and decent battery life. Needs to be compatible with Android, and under $300. Thanks in advance...

re: Did the prosecution and LAPD do a really bad job in the OJ Simpson case? - dltigers3
Fuhrman even to this day just seems like a sleezy dude. I fully believe oj did it, but the socks left in the bedroom, and the lack of blood in the bronco just seem weird to me. But to the ops original question, I would place the majority of the blame on the LAPDs evidence collection, and Ito's in...

re: Did the prosecution and LAPD do a really bad job in the OJ Simpson case? - dltigers3
I'm not necessarily saying Furman was the one to plant the evidence. But let's not look at him as some bastion of logic and moral fortitude. Alot of his actions the night of the murder don't really make sense, like why he even broke into ojs compound in the first place. At the very least, the LA...

re: Did the prosecution and LAPD do a really bad job in the OJ Simpson case? - dltigers3
I think they planted blood to solidify their case against a guilty man. I can't imagine the amount of blood that was found at the scene, and at ojs house compared to the miniscule amount inside the bronco. I've gutted enough deer in my life to know how hard it is to clean up, and how it gets everywh...

re: Did the prosecution and LAPD do a really bad job in the OJ Simpson case? - dltigers3
Fuhrman was asked outright if he planted or manufactured evidence for this case specifically, and he pleaded the fifth. Lots of things like that seemed to make it pretty impossible for a juror to look past.
I can't remember where I saw the explanation for this, but on one of the oj...
