There are many places along Northside Drive adjacent the stadium. Private lots, but the folks there watch the vehicles closely, most are there tailgating. I have parked there for years and have never had a problem....
One glaring issue I see is that this team does not have a team leader. No one seems to stand out as the follow me guy. Transfers and youth are likely the reason. ...
I was always an LSU fan. When I came home from Vietnam, I attended my first live LSU game at Grant Field in Atlanta for the first Peach Bowl against FSU. It was cold and raining, but LSU pulled out a victory at the end. Two days later I came down with the Hong Kong Flu and I have never been so s...
Kelly yelled because Nuss did not go through his progression. He went "One Mississippi" and then slung the ball. I watched the play...he had time to make several looks before throwing. Check, check, throw or go. Mostly nerves and not wanting to make a mistake. Typical of many young QBs who are yet u...
Well, Clark...some of us old farts like me had just finished our second tour in Vietnam. I was at the game and also at the game in Legion Field against Bama. Hamilton was good and football was good, then and now. It was a big deal to go up against Notre Dame and let the big media realize that southe...

re: Paul Finebaum on SEC Network

Watching Finebaum is no worse than following the posts on this board. Take what you want...ignore the rest. I do that with all kinds of shite in my life and occasionally learn something....

I think Peter Burns had to come and replace him last week...Paul got sick during his show. I assume he is on vacation and recovering awaiting the SEC Media days next week. He is an Alabama homer, and a majority of his callers are Bama clowns, but I watch it occasionally to get some SEC football news...

The only big question is the O-line. We get good O-line play and we will roll. IMO....

Johnson has a new team. He is at a point where he is playing a lot of players in an effort to evaluate. Be patient and let him coach. A month from now I think we will see a much better team. It is all trial and error right now...a lot of errors. ...

LSU/FSU tickets

Going to order tickets...anyone know which side is the LSU side?...

re: Why did LSU hire Dinardo

Posted by Catchaser on 12/6/21 at 12:43 pm
I had an hour-long conversation with Joe Dean regards the firing of Dinardo. Joe was defensive and not ready to pull the trigger. I ended the conversation by saying, "Joe, either do it now or do it later...it is inevitable." He finally did. I take no responsibility, but I did add fuel to the fire. D...

When I said "on the field"; I meant dressed out and ready to play if needed. I concure. I hope Max takes the reins and does not let go....

If it was a displaced fracture

Posted by Catchaser on 8/3/21 at 6:47 pm
with screws and plates, it will take about 6 to 8 weeks of healing with his age, physical fitness and current treatments. I would expect him to be on the practice field in shells within 5 to 6 weeks running through no contact skill drills if he wishes. The fracture, barring complications, will be h...

Woodward needs to step up as AD

Posted by Catchaser on 4/7/21 at 7:10 pm
and roll some heads. It is a tough task, but the only way this crap will run its course is for LSU to get its act together and make some tough choices and change the paradigms at LSU. If Woodward does not step up and remains running beneath the surface, he will find himself torpedoed. I don't kno...

re: Is 10-2 out of the question?

Florida and Auburn very beatable. A&M will be a fight...a lot of returning starters, but a question at QB. Bama lost a lot and will have a young, talented team and with their recruiting efforts they will be tough in 2022....but so shall we. I see a good season for LSU, but still some questions on de...
This early in the season, I suspect he is trying to figure out who will be his "go to" guys in the bullpen. Throw them out there and see what they got. The real season begins next week. I am not a great PM fan and I realize the SEC is brutal, especially the west side. I have to wonder if PM is at a...
Mason always had defenses that played hard...just very little talent to compete in the SEC....
I do not understand why they can't hold their water until after signing day. Then they can run their mouths all they want, but they are only hurting the program they say they love....

True, maybe not the best analogy(military/ football players), but quitting is quitting. Even if it is checkers, because your big brother beats you constantly....

Opting out.

Posted by Catchaser on 12/8/20 at 8:24 am
Regards Gilbert, I cannot help but think of the miserable days I spent in Korea and Vietnam. An enemy trying to kill me, seeing friends die, yet I had no option to "opt out." Maybe if someone had told me, "Hey, if you are tired of this shite, you can go home." Of course I had no option such as that. ...
