Scott didn't throw many daggers back at him like we as fans would desire. I guess this is the game of politics.

Honestly, I would prefer no response.

Should’ve told him to take a hike.

You can't win an argument with an unreasonable person so there is no point pouring gas on the fire.

Ok. Let's move on. Politics should be left out of sports. Period.

Yep. Scott shouldn't have sent out a response. If someone asks in a press conference, just answer with: "well, I responded like an adult. I called him and talked to him on the phone."

I tend to agree based on the response. I'm not crazy about the reviewing of processes. That's sounds a bit like a potential bend to me.

I was really hoping for a snarky subtle frick off from Scott.

Oh well he’s a bigger person I guess.

Scott understands something Jeff Landry apparently doesn’t. It’s to the benefit of everyone if LSU and the governor have a positive relationship. A PR battle when the spotlight is on LSU is comically stupid.

Scott is showing far more intelligence than the governor sadly.

To be fair, there’s nothing to gain by having a feud with the governor. Staying out of polarizing conflicts as much as possible is the smartest move anyone can make. Just treat people fairly and move on.

Scott playing this like a mature adult. Yeah, we read your letter and will carry on and ignore you.

Woodward was a political science major and was briefly in politics. He’s probably better equipped to handle a goofball like Landry than most.
