I don't got out to eat much on 280, but I need some local options here. Anywhere from the Summit down to 119. It seems to be a wasteland of Longhorn Steaks and Chipotle, but I'm sure there are some local places around here some where.

Saigon Noodle House, Eli's Jerusalem Grill, and Crazy Cajun's. That's all I got.

Amore and Bellini's are both very good.

Perry's Steakhouse (not local, but that porkchop lunch special is just fantastic)

I can't remember the name, but there is a good Deli in the Collonade or at least there used to be, haven't been over there in forever.

Walkon's (not local but for a lunch is a solid option if it isn't crowded)

Fish Market (though not nearly as good as the downtown one)

The Anvil Pub is pretty decent as well.

But yea, the majority of it is just chain highway offerings. Do you need options at the summit/near it as well?

Olive Branch Mediterranean and Mudtown Eat & Drink were 2 of my favorites when I lived there, behind the summit.

Though not technically within your specified area, there are a good number of places in Cahaba Heights worth checking out. Satterfields, her Mexican place, Martins, Troups, several others.

And there is a Big Bad Breakfast at 119 and Chuck’s just past there.

Second Perry’s as someone mentioned above.

There was a beer store that used to do crawfish boils in their parking lot 7-10 years ago. But I think they may have closed.

I don’t get out that way much to be honest. And usually not eating when I do.

Add Food Bar to this list. Lots of good options in Cahaba Heights. And for BBQ, Miss Myra’s.

Yeah. I live in Cahaba Heights. I work down towards 119 off 280 and need some local lunch options. I avoid 280 like the plague and only come out here for work. Was hoping there was somewhere I missed. I’ve heard about the pizza place and it’s on my list.

I’ve only eaten at Surin 280 once (lunch)and it was good. Salvatore’s Pizza is good if you just want a slice or two.

Last ate at both in December.

Lloyd's.

I know lol, but that place probably does more business than any other in the area you suggested.
