One is the 64 bit version, which suppose to be faster and run more efficient. There are other technical reasons, but right now not many websites and application support it...

Looks as if you are using a 64 bit browser and adobe does not work with it. If they are running a 64 bit version of vista they will have 2 browsers, a 32 bit explorer and a 64 bit. Go to the start menu and find the 32 bit version (or the one that doesn't say 64 bit after it) and then install the ado...
