Dam, I'm impressed. I have lived here for over 10 years. First time, I've heard someone mention some places to gather and watch the game. I hope this continues. NYC has legends that all the alumni gather at. It's rather neat. Would live to see something like that here....
Show me CP's track record in the NCAA. ...
Posted by SouljaBreauxTellEm You have to take into account what coach P was taking over. He made tremendous improvements to bad defenses. He's a great xo guy and with this talent would be outstanding. Shoop is good but not sure how realistic that is.
I would agree. But I look...
Why does everyone want a coach that had average defenses across the whole conference? CP did alright in his conference and with what he had, but in no way did he ever excell and get more out of what was available. Everything I have read says he's a OK coach, but nothing like what we loss....
You can't loose one coach and bring in two. Not under the current rules. ...
I like 1. Venables 2. Shoop 3. Anderson - he improved the cardinals defense after the previous def. coordinator left. He's also a LB coach. I don't like CP's resume. ...
I thought Anderson would be a good fit at LSU. http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/10346347/lance-anderson-promoted-defensive-coordinator-stanford-cardinal...
I remember wtching shep throw with the other top qb's in a camp on TV. he ws no that accurate. But he was a natural athlete. I don't see how he got the rating he did coming out of high school. ...

re: LSU vs. UGA crowd ratio at the SECCG

Lots of fans showed up for the chick fil a kickoff classic last year. I was there. Half the stadium was LSU. The opponent was UNC. If I recall, the peach bowl a few years back had alot of LSU fans there also. LSU ALWAYS travels well. Some venues are better than others. I think it depends on how many...
I live in Savannah and work with many UGA fans. I have to say, they really showed an obnoxious and arrogant attitude in the first half(team and fans). I heard many cat calls saying, "this is the number one team?" I loved rubbing there puppy dog noses in the ground during the second half. ...
It's not a raise when you consider the cost of living is significantly different than Louisiana....

re: What about Mike Leach for OC?

That offense will not work in the SEC....

LSU has more depth in the talent area than Texas AM. Both teams played well, but LSU's defense took over the game and was able to shut AM down for the most part. AM also had a young Qb. The execution of fundamentals and the athleticism was missing this year from the WR's....

OK. I'm all for giving someone a shot and promoting from within. But, how many drop passes did we have this year on catchable balls? Isn't he still the wide receiver coach. Where is to attention to detail? Most people that have a month to prepare, do well in game planning. Just saying.......
I believe you are comparing apples to oranges. Gruden had one run at a championship on a team that someone else built. He did well in Oakland, but somehow lost his edge in Tampa. Tampa had a good owner, a good team, and a good system. I don't believe Pete walked into that situation. I just don't see...
both retired. Gruden was fired....
If LSU somehow landed Gruden, Recruits would be lined up to play for the Tigers
You have got to be kidding me. This must be the latest catch phrase. Their is alot better coaches out their besides him. Why do you think he is still a broadcaster....

Start JL. New option. With RS pitching.

Posted by bmigues on 10/3/10 at 8:46 am
Start Lee and use Shepard in the wildcat type formation. Always keep RS and Ridley in. Move these two around in the backfield and slot. You will always have an option to spread the defense no matter who is at QB. The key would be to have RS and SR in the backfield at the same time with our QB. With ...
How do we improve the decisions Jl makes? I seen two bonehead passes. And a couple of game management decisions that I think will fix themselves. Can these glaring problems be fixed with game time and coaching or are we stuck with what we got....

Better qb play, making the passes. Will open the holes...
