I'll never forget that Halloween game against the Steelers in 2010 where Strief didn't have a guy within 15 yards and his feet didn't even leave the ground during his attempted catch

Harris looks like somebody just told him you can't actually eat the pigskin.

Speaking of where Peat will lineup, I was listening to the Sirius Blitz a couple days ago with Rich Gannon and Bruce Murray, who sucks by the way, and Max Unger was on as a guest. They were talking about how Unger will have to pass block more in NO than in Seattle. And Gannon segued into discussing Peat's progress. He asked Unger how Peat was doing etc.. Unger gave a generic response. But what caught my attention is that Gannon phrased the question something like "It looks like Drew has a new stud to protect his blindside huh Max?" I've been busy with work lately and haven't kept up too much with all the news, but is it a forgone conclusion that Peat will be LT? Or that the staff wants Peat as LT? I was hoping Armstead could hold down LT and have Peat at RT. Especially since Peat was touted as a great run blocker. Unger said yea he is playing LT with the ones and hes coming along. Dont flame me if that's old news. Was kinda disappointed tho.

Strief looks like Billy Bob from Varsity Blues when he gets the pitch on the last play

How am I looking too much into it when our starting center stated Peat was taking all the reps with the ones? Had Gannon simply said that, I wouldn't care cuz he doesn't know anything about the saints plans. But Unger confirming it means something. At least enough for a fan to post about it on a fan message board

Good. I hope Unger was exaggerating or misleading. But I'm very interested to see what our starting Oline will look like in week one. It would just seem odd to move a young guy like Armstead away from LT unless they don't see him there past his first contract. I'd love to see him on the left and Peat on the right with Strief as a swingman/6th man.

Appears Lelito is the front runner. I saw an interesting quote from Strief. Summarizing, he said Peat is going to take my job, the question is when. My job is to keep it as long as possible.

Armstead, Lelito, Unger, Evans, Streif all with the 1's....Peat has been running RT with the 2's, although I'm sure going forward he will get some reps at LT. & RT with the 1's for depth

I think we see the OT eligible a lot this season (like we did in '09). Personally I hope the OT eligible is Armstead just to see the fear in the eyes of the DB/LB who has to take him on when he comes in motion to lead block.
