They're both locks, but I think Snead will be more important to the offense.

Maybe much more.

It's starting to look that way but still wouldn't call either a lock yet.

Josh Morgan seems to be fading though and the injury to Toon killed his chances.

Jones has done nothing impressive either.

So if I had to make a list it would be Cooks, Colston, Joe Morgan, Snead, and Coleman. Highly likely no 6th receiver as Murphy is now a lock as the 4th HB and return man.

With each game, if Snead continues to catch like he does now, coach will definitely keep him on the field. He becomes a threat and gives relief pressure to other wideouts.

Hopefully they're the second coming of Lance Moore and Colston.

I've learned this has a different meaning for different people.

I agree on both making the 53. I can see Snead becoming a favorite for Brees.

Could be a temporary replacement for Spiller while we are waiting for him to get his vagina healthy.

Yeah for me when I say lock it is 100% dead set NOTHING can change it making the roster.

There are still things (injury aside) that could change the pecking order for everyone not named Colston or Cooks.

Definitely. I thought it was going to take him a little longer to develop in the pass game and run game especially. Murphy is looking play time ready now.

Snead looks like he's got some skill.. I can see him in the lance Moore type role. I would like to see him against someone other than a bunch of practice players

Given Toon's injury and no one else stepping up they are virtual locks, but Josh Morgan and Jones could have monster games in the last game or Coleman and Snead could frick up colossally bad. Not very likely but it still has to play out.

Reason Cooks and Colston are locks is even if they frick up bad enough they are too young and athletic/too proven to cut. Preseason doesn't mean as much to them.

Also not sure why people are considering Snead and Coleman locks and not Joe Morgan when he has outplayed them and is more proven with insane big play potential.

I'd be pretty shocked and maybe upset if he didn't make it. Morgan/Cooks combo will make it easier for the big guys too
