SunTiger you are spot on. Your list proves that big time coaches can come from small schools, even 1-AA schools. I like this guy...

I agree, he doesn't hate LSU. The guy is known as a great recruiter. He is a little lose on top but then isn't that a pre requisite to be a defense coordinator/coach? He will fire the defense up and those guys will play lights out....

For those of you who refer to South Carolina and that Spurrier is done, first of all how many SEC championships have the gamecocks won before Spurrier got there? How many winning seasons have they had? I don't think any coach in this world would make that program champions. Oh don't get me wrong,...

So long as he wins at LSU who gives a damn. I am reading about his recruiting at the Gamecocks....but this is LSU/Louisiana and a recruiting hotbed. We would not skip a beat with this guy. I am not sure he has to recruit hard. Players will come to play for him at LSU....
