Anyone here who thinks that Les Miles is staying at LSU

no longer has a right to call Bama fans delusional.

Dude is gone and it is simply a matter of when. Let's just hope that he can give us the gift of an SEC championship and a national championship (if he coaches in that game) before heading up to the big house.

I appreciate coach Miles for everything he's done for LSU and I wish him the best of luck in his new position.

If I'm wrong I'll be the first one to eat a gi-normous plate of crow, but I just don't see him staying in BR.

I think he's staying. Unlike some of our previous coaches, he has a sense of integrity and a deep affection for LSU and its fans.

I totally agree that he has integrity and I believe that he and his family are genuinely happy in BR.

However, when the opportunity to go home calls, it isn't something you can overlook. (see Roy Williams @ UNC, which is a similar situation)

CLM indeed leaving for Michigan will not change my view of him as a man of integrity. That is, unless he gets into a Sabanesque denial situation and leaves anyway.

How do you want it served, with or without the feathers?

No feathers, blackened please if I have to eat it but that isn't going to happen.

Me too - sorry to see him go, but I have seen nothing to indicate he is staying. I think if he was, he would have made a categorial statement by now.

I eat it with feathers right now - if he would just come out and say positively that he is staying at LSU.

My boss thinks he's staying, I think he's leaving. We have a bet over it too.

IF he stays, I think you are right about the legend. Certainly wouldn't be going anywhere else.

If Carr had resigned last year and let's say for the hell of it - Greg Schiano had been hired to coach Michigan, I'd agree with you.

Unfortunately, Les is history.

There will be a new HC at LSU. There may also be a new DC as well as a new OC.

I hope that these changes bring to LSU the guy you mention in your post above, but it won't be Miles IMO.

If offered he is gone and I don't blame him one bit. Miles leaving would not be the same as when Satan left. The difference between Miles and Satan is that Satan is a liar and Miles is a genuine human being. Name me one LSU football player who is in coaching right now if offered would turn down a job to be the HEAD COACH at his LSU. I think he is gone if offered and I wish him the best. At least he is not a liar like SATAN.

"Mama called, and when Mama calls, then you just have to come running". Bear Bryant said it well.

If Miles does leave I will wish him all the best. I just don't think Miles will be able to recruit in Michigan like at LSU. Ohio State will steal all the recruits with Notre Dame pulling in some as well.
I do think he needs to weigh out the options. What if he can not help Michigan's program and he gets fired. He will end up regret leaving LSU.
