I'd like to be the first to personally thank Kirk Herbstreit and ESPN for breaking this news on the morning of the SEC championship. Your timing couldn't have been better. Before this I didn't think the players would have any major distractions, but not anymore. I hope the team comes out and plays like they still have a coach today or else they are going to get

I don't think the players are as naive as some on this board and sadly our chancellor. Everyone has known miles was going to michigan. I have a feeling they will be ready to win this one for themselves.

Dude, the players have known since thursday. Miles told them after practice. I posted it and the topic was a thirty something page thread. ESPN is not breaking the story to the players. ESPN is not distracting the players.....if anyone its Leslie. Good Riddance.

ESPN just sped up the announcement process. The players and administration already knew. The players will perform just like they would have had this announcement not been made.

This will just show everyone that LSU can win wheather we have a coach or not. I would imagine that if LSU wins they will not say a word about how great the seniors were that they kept the team together and still went out and won a title in the toughest diviasion in football.
