It’s been a long time since I shot a new bow. Been shooting a Mathews Drenalin for a while.

Went in today and shot the vxr (both 28 and 31). It was amazing to me how much quieter and more stable the bows felt vs my old bow.

Bought the 28. Looking forward to getting in the stand with it.

Is it going to keep me from dropping my quiver while standing up?

Or drawing when he is 60 yards away so I can be good and shaky when he comes in 15 min later?

Or how bout touching the bow string with my broadhead so I can sit all afternoon throwing acorns at squirrels.

I love bow hunting

So true. When u think about the number of things that have to go right to kill a deer with a bow, it’s amazing that it ever happens!

Man, id love a 28 if i wasn't poor. Hunting with a shorter ATA bow helps in tight spots and weight. I'll personally never get above a 30" to hunt whitetail in a stand.

Man the stars really have to align for you to kill one with a bow. I’ve been tempted to pick up the crossbow but those last few dots you have to connect with the vertical are what make the kill that much more satisfying. To stay on track, I shot the vertix last year and thought the balance was a little funny but I liked everything else. I think the 31.5 vxr with the longer riser will have a date with my checking account.

Need y’all to talk me into buying a new bow. No budget. Prefer to keep it under $3k for bow only.

There is nothing wrong with my Switchback and I have a ton of confidence in but I have that itch to buy one. I think I’ll go ahead and buy a new one and have another extra just in case something happens to my primary.

If y’all were going to buy a new one with a budget of $3K, what would you buy? $3k is for bow only.

I shot both the 28 and 31 ata.

I shoot at 27.5 inch draw length. The string angle and overall feel we’re just better for me.
