James Conner’s value?

What is his value? I have a stable of RB and the Bell owner in my league is interested in Conner.

Sell high
Easily worth a wr1. Or rb1

I think it depends on your needs, but I would start out at at least a WR2 to see how desperate the other owner is. Maybe package something together like your Connor and WR2 for his WR1.

His value is whatever the Bell owner is willing to pay.

On what planet?
I do agree with the sell high part though.

I agree that's a bit much. I do think you could package another player to go after a low end RB1 or WR1 possibly. It all depends on the two rosters.

That’s debatable even if Leveon never comes back this season. Honestly it’s a pretty stupid answer. Are you actually saying Conner is worth a top 10 RB? So he’s worth Christian McCaffrey or Dalvin Cook?

Are people in some of y’alls leagues actually willing to trade a WR1 for Conner? That doesn’t make any sense to me even with an additional player

Week 1
Conner 31rush/135yds/2Tds 5rec/57yds/0td
McCaffery 10rush/50yds/0yds 6rec/45yds/0tds
Cook 16rush/40yds/0tds 6rec/55yds/0tds
Yes he is worth a top 10 rb

It doesn't seem like you're accounting for the fact that at any moment Bell could walk through the door and knock Conner into an irrelevant abyss. You have to factor that huge risk in when evaluating what he's worth in a trade

When Bell does come back who's to say it it won't be later rather than sooner? He already gave up one game check and if his intentions are to stay healthy for free agency then I would think he'd go the full 10 games to do that. Things have already gotten ugly between him and the team and I think his ego might be too inflated for him to just swallow his pride, put his tail between his legs and come crawling back after taking things this far.

Right, he could hold out until week 10. But you know for sure Conner could go back to being a handcuff in week 10 at the latest, possibly much sooner. Would you trade a WR1 or RB1 for a guy you know is just a short-term rental (even if a talented rental)? Just saying that's a huge problem for anyone that is considering trading him.

If you think Bell stays out until week 10, then I think Conner starts losing value around week 5. I’d think top value would be realized after week 2 or 3.
Just my opinion and Bell could report this afternoon.

It doesn’t matter when Bell comes back, he isn’t going to take substantial carries. He may go all out for a game or two but he will never put his future on the line for this team. That is clear as day for anyone willing to look even remotely between the lines.
To answer OP, his value to you is higher than to anyone else. Just keep him and reap the benefits of drafting a guy that everyone else should have made a priority.
I have him in 3/4 leagues and won’t move him. At the end of the season, I’m guessing he will be the guy that is on the highest percentage of playoff/championship teams.
An RB1 that was taken in the final rounds/bids, that is the guy that wins leagues. Congrats

That’s quite the theory

I gotta believe!!!
ETA: In all seriousness, I think Bell risking injury just months before he due to make 100 million dollars or so just isn’t likely.
The reality is that NFL players really do play “hurt” pretty much every week. Usually they are willing to play through the aches and pains and even minor injuries because they are competitors and want to give their all for their teammates, coaches, fans, and ownership.
I don’t see that motivation for Bell at all, and can’t really see how anyone else could either
When Bell wakes up with pain in his legs feet neck back whatever, he’ll report to the trainers and practice/rehab all week however they say he should then say I just don’t think I can go when game day comes around.

Well, I hope he's correct, but I won't hold my breath. I predict Bell will sit as long as he can and return in week 12 (or whatever it is), but once Bell returns, he'll be the top dog. This is Bell we're talking about. I will enjoy the benefit of Conner until then.

Piggybacking on this...... I have Bell. A guy in our league is offering me Conner for Juju Smith-Schuster. 12-team PPR
