Firing Matt Canada was an idiotic/boneheaded move

I’m not here to troll this board, this is a genuine warning to the blind O supporters. Firing a competent OC who schemed with a weak OL to a 6-2 SEC record was getting the job done. Hiring one of Les’ TE cronies who hasn’t been an OC in 20 years is how you get 3 passing yards in the second half at home to an FCS school. We punted more than passing yards in the second half. No other FBS school would have a stat like that, and Ensminger looks like he hasn’t coached in 20 years.
The scheme we have is absurdly bland, non inventive, and turning out to be ineffective. It still looks like Ed doesn’t know what he wants to run. We are not getting the ball out of Burrows hands quickly with the 4-5 WR sets we were told we’d see.
If we get paired up with Maryland in a bowl, I hope Canada runs it up on Ed. Ed deserves it.

Nope...frick Canada and his gimmick offense. That shite gets shut down by good SEC defenses. We finally have a pro style offense again.

But "Slinger" is one of the brightest offensive minds in college football. And o has a vision of the kind of offense he wants to run. And the offensive line coach has a super bowl ring.

Hadn't thought of that scenario. Canada vs Aranda. That would likely mean a lesser bowl. CEO would likely be gone at that point?

I was on the Canada train. Who knows if removing him was a bad thing. He is playing with hose money at Maryland. When you have ZERO pressure to win, life has to be easier. I hope that he succeeds. The rumor is that there were major issues with the staff. My question concerns timeline. At what point was Canada effectively removed from the equation? I don't know. Others may claim to know but I doubt what most of the rantards have to say. BYU (to my surprise) was a terrible team, and we still didn't do much offensively. Moo State pretty much shut down our offense. So at what point was Canada put in the dog house? To me, that makes a difference. He does look good at Marand right now. Time will tell.

Firing isn't the problem at LSU. I think everyone that has been fired has been fired and rightfully so. It's the hiring part that keeps getting fricked up.
