Mississippi Divorce

Posted by geauxmojo69 on 2/23/24 at 7:35 am
With Mississippi not being a community property state how do they figure the equitable distribution? Is it in favor of who contributed more (I) or who contributed less (her)? We are completely amicable and aren't to that point yet but have discussed if we get there we split assets & custody 50/50 an...
I am literally living this exact scenario right now. Been separated for 10 days. I'm sleeping in my office. We're speaking now, probably better than ever, but she doesn't know if she wants to continue the marriage. I'm at a loss and hoping we can resolve it but it doesn't look good. ...

When I open Outlook it actually says IMAP/SMTP (Swear it said POP) but now I don't see that. I have not done anything with an Exchange server. That is what I am trying to have done, I think. Basically I want my domain and email that I have purchased to be uploaded/added/converted or what ever it may...

I've got the new email in outlook and its working perfectly. My only issue is when I add an event to my Outlook calendar on my computer it does not show up on my Outlook calendar on my phone. What I was told was this issue is due to the email being setup as a POP/IMAP and not an Exchange account. Bu...

re: Concrete driveway question

I would think there is very little saw cutting (if any) involved. I imagine he will bring in a mini-ex w/ a ho-ram break it all up and then he will have some salvage value off the broken concrete as well. Unless you're just really rural and don't have options I would get some more pricing. I'm in N...
Highly recommend not doing this especially if you have small kids. My wife and I both took new jobs last year commuting into Memphis. The distance is only 25-30 miles but the drive always takes 1 hr. minimum each way. It has made life stressful, we have to take turns leaving work early because we've...

I agree w/ Poochie. Typically this is $5/sf all day long. There is a strangle on the cement market so I could see $7-$8/sf worst case. What are the dimensions?...

I used to draw plans as a draftsman. My first question is what all are you looking for in a "set of plans" and what does your local code enforcement office require to issue a building permit. For example one town may only require a dimensioned floor plan and elevations and another town may require y...

re: Question about pouring concrete

Posted by geauxmojo69 on 1/25/23 at 8:42 am
Without seeing the plasticity of the clay in person hard to tell. I wouldn't be to concerned with pouring directly on the soil for the patio as it is not subject to heavy loads. But for your driveway I'd seriously consider excavating out 4-6" of the clay and installing a basecourse (crushed concrete...
