There is a TON of football to be played and if you look at the remaining schedules there aren’t going to be but a handful of undefeated/one loss teams. Can easily see there being 3-4 two loss teams jockeying for that 4th and even 3rd slot....

It is completely ridiculous that the committee is tasked to find the 4 "best" teams each year. This is such an objective way of finding a true champion team.
The playoff committee should use the more objective approach by finding 4 most deserving. Talent should not enter into the equation AT ALL...
