New poster, Geaux Tigers. Here is how I see the Bama game playing out.

Bama hasn't played a team near our level yet. The closest was A&M at home... lol

Tua hasn't started in this type of environment. The closest was Neyland Stadium last week... lol

We will be the first team to shut them down defensively on their first drive with the ball. That will make them nervous and feed our frenzied crowd. We will score on one of our first possessions to go up 7-0 or 3-0.

For the rest of the first half it will be a battle but I see it being a close one going into halftime. 17-14 LSU.

DEVIN WHITE will lead the team out after half and they will be pumped up on another level. Their leader is back and they know they can win this game after the first half.

Burrow will show his swagger again and lead us to victory 30-28.

We have to pressure tua. bama has only allowed 6 sacks all year. We can't give him 6-7 seconds back there. It will be an interesting chess match between Aranda and bama's OC.

Glad to see your post, and thanks for some actual football talk.

I agree that we are the best defense that they will have seen this year. I do not think Tiger Stadium will be intimidating to Tua - he came into the NC game to start the second half last year and played great.

I am not sure that we shut them down on the first drive, though. We may give up a field goal, but I doubt giving up a TD on the first drive. The real key will be if we can move on them and score in the first quarter. If we keep it close or get ahead, we will have a chance in the second half.

Tua is good against the blitz. I think Aranda will have the same gamplan he had against Georgia. Send 3-4 Drop 7-8 and force Tua to make perfect throws. Fromm was one of the most accurate passers in SEC history and you forced him to make perfect throws and he couldn’t. Of course you try and confuse him as much as possible. Put 6-7-8 on the line and make the o line and Tua figure out who is rushing and who is dropping.

Putting a corner in these receivers face and throwing off timing is something else you will probably see. No team has done that against Bama this year. They all get free releases off the line.

I like your logic but I really think we win by 10 or more. The Gumps really don’t match up with us very well.

if you send only 3 Bama will run the ball. I don't think Saban cares if he wins the game by Tua throwing the ball or Jacobs/Harris/Harris running the ball. It might even be possible for Bama to use Tua as a decoy and simply run run run, or use tons of screen passes. The threat of the long pass, which Tua has been very good at, is enough to keep safeties deep. LSU has the best secondary in the nation. It's going to be a great game!

Best of Luck Tigers.

Additionally, from a Crimson Tide fan, I would much rather White have played the whole game and I agree the targeting call was weak!

Again, best of luck!
