re: Lessons from James Leitz/Brian Manzella/Rob Noel
Posted by WillyL on 3/28/24 at 8:43 am
I have had lessons with Brian when he was at English Turn. We simply stayed on one section of the practice facility and had no type of technology. He is very knowledgeable and helped me greatly. He did not complicate things with a geometry, angles and technicalities.
I also have had lessons with ...

I do not know enough about collegiate basketball to make a decision of how good/bad MM may be. However, as a casual fan, his players play hard, and never give up....
re: The surprise is surprising!

Over two years ago, I made this post. I was called numerous insulting names by people who I have never met. So, I patiently sat back and let my original post aged like a very nice fine wine....
Jim Leitz Fitting-Why Not
Posted by WillyL on 11/26/23 at 11:10 am
It seems weekly that there is a thread asking for recommendations for a fitting in some region of south Louisiana. It seems, Jim Leitz is never and/or seldom mentioned. Since he is a Golf Digest top 100 fitter, i was just wonder why he gets so few recommendations?...

Posted by WillyL on 11/26/23 at 11:05 am

Sitka Code Threads
Posted by WillyL on 10/31/23 at 5:26 pm
Today, and every so often someone comes on this forum and provides Sitka discount threads on a first come first serve basis. I was fortunate enough to get a code some time back. Our group, who takes special needs kids fishing, as well as wounded veterans hunting, was able to buy over $4,500.00 in ra...
re: Crabbing in Dulac
Posted by WillyL on 9/29/23 at 10:34 am
People swear that at dawn and dusk they see a 'person" hitchhiking on the side of the road. Supposedly if you pick him up, he will share his treasures with you, which include shrimp, fish, crabs and gold coins. I have never experienced this but have family camps in Cocodrie and Dulac and people swea...

I was asked to make a couple of hunts (deer & ducks) in an area slightly north of Tyler, Texas. I have deer hunted in south Texas, but have never hunted in the northwest, Texas region. If anyone of you guys/gals ever hunted this region, I would appreciate any input as to what to expect.

The Ump was. . .but
Posted by WillyL on 6/20/23 at 10:43 am
The ump was obviously bad last night. A strike zone will be different from ump to ump, but an ump should ne\bver be inconsistent with his chosen strike zone. LSU did not lose the game because of the Ump since he was garbage for both teams. We lost the game because JJ was playing checkers and a 30 so...
