You are correct about Stockyard Cafe... State Police Cafeteria has some decent chicken as well. Chicken Shack is the best though. It's always fresh, hot, and juicy....
Nothing in BR comes close to Chicken Shack. Knuckle-sucking fried chicken, pork chop sandwich, shack balls, 7-Up Cake :bow:...

Sorry but there's no better drunk food than a sack full o' Krystals. PF Changs = small portions & high prices...
If you want a great sandwich I highly recommend The Local in Denham Springs. Really good stuff....
I am making some this week, as well. :cheers: I know that Pinetta's in Baton Rouge has it on their menu but I've never had it there....
