Do you agree that Piccadilly has some of the best fried chicken in BR?

I don't really have Picc on my radar anymore and don't know if they're doing good enough to keep the doors open, but their fried chicken has always been delicious.

Drive down acadian, cross florida, and look to the left.
You'll see an abnormal amount of white people for that neighborhood.

I thought Piccadilly had some good fried chicken, then I discovered Golden Corral.

I quit going to Piccadilly after my grandmother died. I'd always get the chicken fried steak when I went though

Nothing in BR comes close to Chicken Shack.

It's definitely not bad, but Popeye's and Chicken Shack are better and cheaper. I'm also partial to the chicken at the Albertson's on Highland. I've also heard the Stockyard Cafe has absolutely legit fried chicken.

You are correct about Stockyard Cafe... State Police Cafeteria has some decent chicken as well. Chicken Shack is the best though. It's always fresh, hot, and juicy.

I like Popeye's spicy better, but Chicken Shack is a way better deal. I also really enjoy the Big Shack and their fish sandwich.

I was just thinking the same thing. Boy, did that sweet old lady love Picadilly...she liked looking at everything more than she liked eating it!
+1 on Chicken Shack. The sides are as good as the chicken: smothered green beans, greens, etc.

Don't know about that because I don't do BR. But, the best fried fish in Houston is at E-Star Chinese buffet. The best fried shrimp I have ever had is at a Halal Chinese buffet. They also have the best chicken wings, though they don't have sauce. I bring my own Frank's red hot.

There's a gas station off Sherwood (north) that has the best FC in Baton Rouge. Comes in a brown paper bag or a shaker. It's so good it's worth the risk of getting shot.
