If students just knew that one or a few random teachers were armed, and signs posted around schools about ‘armed personnel’ on campus, that’d be a hell of a deterrent to anyone even thinking of shooting up a school.
Agreed! An armed person at a school COULD make a potential shoot...
I know a few people who have been security guards for 'X' amount of time. They all agreed that the 'training' they went though wasn't anything special. To get "certified" was essentially making sure you don't shoot yourself in the foot if you have to pull your weapon. Id rather have whichever teache...
I wouldn't want every teacher to carry a firearm. I would want whichever teachers who are comfortable with their ability to safely and responsibly carry a firearm, to carry. Not even open carry, conceal carry is perfect. There is no reason the students need to know which teachers have a gun and whic...

Specifically a Carlsons Super Steel or Carlson Cremator. Anyone used one of the other with whtever gun? Th...

The Winchester SX3 and Brownings Maxus are just about the same thing. I have friends who have A400, A5, and Versas. All fantastic guns. I know more people who have sold the previously stated 3 and bought a Maxus or a SX3. ...
If you know you want a .308 and it'll be a fun range gun - Check out Springfields lineup. They weigh more than some other mentioned rifles, but if your going to be a range guy, it wont matter how much it weighs. If you know you want a .308 on a AR Platform - get a Smith and Wesson or the equivale...
