Sons,
In a script befitting a whack remake no one wanted, the Pels play the LoLakers today for a guaranteed spot in the playoffs.
It's simple really: win and you're in the playoffs.
When the Lakers beat us, we were completely asleep on defense (especially Zion) and they just played with more poise. Having the 2nd greatest player of all time on your team will do that to you.
But if you look at the total sum of the teams, the Pels are better.
We're a better 3pt shooting team
We're better defensively
We have better shot makers
And we have a player that will be taking this game personally.
Zion, for all the criticism he's faced, has shown up and showed out post ASB. He's in the best shape of his career here, playing the best defense in his professional career (steph curry still having nightmares), and it's his team finally. Again.
The Pels showed something we haven't seen all season against the Warriors. Perseverance in the face of adversity against a good experienced team.
The Lakers are a good experienced team, and we will face adversity again today. If Trey and CJ play well sure, we'll blast these fricks and roll, but the script is real, and it's gonna be a motherfricker to pull this off today. In Zion we must trust.
It's been an absolute honor rolling with all of you fricking assholes this year. Let's keep going and piss off the media that would love to dickride the fricking bitches from Los Angeles.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but worst case scenario we have two chances at home against LAL, and then one more against SAC/GSW??

I haven’t been this excited or nervous for a Pelicans game since we were the Hornets and CP3 and D West ran shite. Hope Minny helps and is up 30 at half on Phoenix.

This is an important game for the Pels. The team really needs to apply lessons learned here, get a win50, and build into the playoffs. Lakers' best shot is to double up at the SKC.

Correct. For us to completely miss the playoffs, we’d have to lose 3 straight games.
