I agree. I think the BCS selection system was better. I would rather go back to that system to select 4 teams for a playoff....

There is a very real concern that at some point it could get difficult for LSU to obtain a Tiger mascot due to protests from animal rights wack jobs.
Mike's habitat is excellent. But that mobile cage would be considered an object of scorn by the wack jobs....

It's always been Bama. Been that way since the 1970s. From 72-82 they beat us every year and as a 9-18 year old I learned to detest them.
I used to hate Tulane too, but I don't any more....

The guy has a job to do. Can't fault him for it.
But my guess is, if Alabama likes him, they'll reward him handsomely and it would be very tough for LSU to get him.

Don't know, but on another site, it was reported that Trent Richardson was there until 1230am last night.
I have also heard that most of the LSU players are hanging out in the hospitality suite at the Hilton and haven't been going out much....

Everyone needs to stop making a big deal over the guy being a Marine.
25 years ago when I was in the Marine Corps, Marines got into fights all the time and often lost. 90% of the fights in bars that I saw Marines in (and I participated in a few) involved Marines fighting other Marines.

I disagree wholeheartedly. I think that the whole CBS coverage is second rate at best, including an over-the-hill play by play announcer and a color commentator that gets it wrong too often.
Case in point was their atrocious commentary on LSU's delay of game penalty on Saturday. They were so read...
